Caricature- Just Imagine….

A workshop designed to break down all inhibitions, and find the alter ego that you never thought you had. Through simple techniques non-descript lead a workshop that aims to build confidence within a group of people, whilst working individually to create a performance character that is out of this world.

This process helps participants to engage with the character building process through the exploration of devising, offering communication, creative thinking and performance skills that the participant can then utilise further within their own projects.

Improvisation- Plant pots or boxing gloves?

Non-descript present an improvisation workshop focusing on the development of creative thinking, confidence and communication skills. Through the simple use of household objects, music and our bodies alone this workshop experiments with the extent of our imaginations and our ability to communicate.

Can you create the universe out of a coat hanger and three balls?

This workshop style has directly informed Non-descript’s performance work, directly inspiring the show ‘A Tale of Competition’.

Beginning devising…where do you start?

This workshop focuses on various avenues into devising theatre, giving participants a kick-start into the creative process.

Through the exploration of storytelling, improvisation, and a range of stimulus, the company offers an insight into the many ways of beginning performance.

During this workshop the participants will work individually and in groups, promoting teamwork to encourage creative thinking and communication.
