About Us
Non-descript are a new independent touring theatre company encouraging
a fresh and progressive style of theatre and performance, experimenting
with ways of breaking conventional boundaries. Through the imaginative
use of caricature, movement, music and household objects, the company
strives to create original devised work using well-known stories or legends.
Non-descript are an energetic company who utilise various medium and
locations to create dynamic and subversive performance. Favouring non-verbal
to dialogue, improvised to scripted, and visual interest before logic,

Amy Sanders, Artistic
Director
Originating from a sunny village called Yardley Gobion
in Northamptonshire, my passion for devising ignited whilst
studying theatre in the industrial wonder that is Coventry
City. I now like to think myself as ‘living the dream’ as
one of the co-founders, performers, directors, secretary,
and all round tea maker for Non-descript! |

Lyndsay Evans,
Artistic Director
Age 22, Born and raised in Oxford- I studied performing
arts at college, then followed this up with a degree in
Theatre at Coventry University. In all honesty I didn’t
know a great deal about devising theatre, but since starting
to create our own work I have found that I love it, and
hope to be doing it until I am old, grey and can barely
move anymore. |

Kelly Higgs, Performer
A theatre Practitioner, actress and co-founder of Lost Property Performance Co. works on stage, has appeared in short films and performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, and has recently moved into creating performance installations. Using the arts as part of regeneration programmes is of particular interest to Kelly and being born and currently based in Coventry, she is taking every opportunity to get fully involved in the scene there. |

Malika Eisenhut, Performer
Once upon a time in the historical city of Coventry there was an
enchanting company; Non-Descript. One day the company called upon a young lady named Malika (me, a 3rd year Coventry university theatre student originally from Switzerland) to help them on a quest to create the craziest,
wackiest theatre in the land. The story continues… well they haven’t grown tired of me yet. |

Charlotte Carter , Performer
Having previously worked with non-descript, Lottie loves their mad, fun, larger than life performances and is keen to be involved in their shows. As a performer, Lottie strives to push boundaries and question audience roles. She is particularly interested in the environment of performing and through her company ‘Lost Property’ she hopes to develop abstract structures through common thoughts and create magical, interactive theatrical events. |

Verity Pabla, Performer
The tallest, I love performing and watching
live performance that is truly alive! I reckon Non-descript
embodies this, having the ability to entertain, potentially
confuse and, above all, make people smile (which is always
nice!). Devising theatre is fun and it’s cool to
be creative in so many different ways and obscure places. |
